blood test results

So I get a call from my primary doc. He tells me the resuls from my last blood test show that my liver enzymes are elevated and that my testosterone levels are "very, very low." He wants me to come in right away for more tests. I have him fax the labs to my cardiologist and surgeon. They both call me on my cell (unsolicited) & tell me that I have to get those tests done right away and to stop taking my medication.   Surgeon said that this is not a normal result of gastric bypass. I never had 3 docs call me with such a sense of urgency. Has anyone had similar results from RNY? Any ideas as to what may be contributing to these results? (liver enzymes=possible hepatitis/low testosterone= just plain ol' getting old). Thanks. Jay

You're not doing a gender change on us are you??  I had a fatty liver before WLS that messed with my enzymes a little, but that cleared up after and I had one kidney that wanted some time off but that cleared up after a week of antibiotics in the IV in the hospital.  SInce then I've been OK.  Guess you should have the test and find out whats shaking in there before you start having other issues. Let us know what they discover.  You could be overdosed on Girls Scout cookies.  They can mess up your hormones you know!!!

You think the estrogen might be causing it??? Very funny...I'm gonna call you Mean Joe Green from now on!! LOL. I went for more tests today. Possibly Hepatitus they said. We'll see.  Jay
