Thank you all for the replies. I do not have many of the symptoms you have listed but certainly have a couple:
  • Frequent cessation of breathing - on occasion my wife will think I stop breathing, maybe paranoia?
  • Choking or gasping -not that I recall
  • Loud snoring - only on my back, on my side - very little
  • Sudden awakenings -very rearly
  • Waking up in a sweat not that I can recall
  • Feeling unrefreshed in the morning pretty much all the time but by the time I get to bed, I can only get 6.5 to 7 hours
  • Headaches, sore throat, or dry mouth - rearly
  • Daytime sleepiness, -tired but never fell asleep
  • Lethargy (hold on, lemme get the dictionary) -just kidding - on occasion, but I think because I don't give myself enough time to sleep
  • Rapid weight gain - duh
  • Memory loss and learning difficulties -I'd say no
  • Short attention span -I'm sorry, were you talking to me? lol, Not really
  • Poor judgment - not really
  • Depression - no
  • Personality changes - don't think so
I guess the study will tell the real story, maybe I am just in denile. Thank you all again, Chris

chris,  I also don't have many of the usual symptoms, however as time passed I noticed I yawned during the day and took just short naps while watching TV, never while driving and doing tho. This morning:  I read last night in bed and fell asleep before putting on my bipap machine mask.  Woke up once to go to the bathroom and then at my regular time of 6:00 a.m. but had a massive headache (not enough oxygen to the brain) so I slipped on my mask and woke up again at 8:00...headache gone.  So...good luck with the sleep study, it's a necessary evil, my technician said I called him a crazy ******* three times in the night but I don't remember it.  LOL
