Surgery in 6 days. Is this forum still about Weight Loss?
Chuck, We are all wishing the best for you next Wednesday. Rest assured, you will come through with flying colors and be sitting on the loser’s bench before you know it. I know the time will seem to almost stand still over the next few days, but in a few months you will be part way down the path to better health. Then when you look back up the trail, these pre-surgery days will seem like a blink of an eye. Good luck to you.
May Your Lantern Burn Bright,
Paul
Thanks for all the reassurance guys - I work in healthcare and feel very good about my surgeon and the hospital. I found out yesterday that they have bariatric beds and private rooms - that makes me feel better too. I'm six nine and 547, so I'm relieved that I'll have a comfy bed to recoup in. I am on my way to the credit union to get my 18,000 bucks and then off to pay the surgeon and hospital. And, I have my final surgery/nutrition class this afternoon. Hard to believe I'm at the final countdown........
Hey Chuck,
Just found the guys locker room and wanted to say don't feel like the lone ranger. I go in 5 days after you on the 19th. I am really not scared or even apprehensive, I just keep thinking of how great my quality of life will be and how much more I will be able to do without packing around the extra pounds. Good luck Chuck and wish you a speedy recovery. I will be thinking of ya
