Every little beat of my heart..

I'm a freak.   Did the stress tests yesterday and it took 15 minutes and I pissed off the techs.   "The treadmill will incline and speed up every 2 minutes while we try to get you to 85% of your max heart rate"   Max heart rate? What's that? The heart rate where my heart explodes out of my chest like a scene from Aliens????   Every two minutes they also took my blood pressure.   How moronic is this?   For the first 10 minutes, my BP barely went anywhere from 120 over 75..then slowly to 125 over 70.  I ended at 155 over 65.. but that was at 96% of my max heart rate.  See at the end, I was sprinting up a 50 degree incline....   I also got the impression like the tech thought it was a waste of time....I know I sure did.   Today, I am walking around with a mini-ekg on my chest.  I am tempted to eat a huge plate of scrapple for breakfast, just to see how it affects the monitor.  There is a button on it for me to highlight cariac events.. I wonder if people ******g me off counts as a cariac event.   *sigh*     Just venting..

"Better Safe Than Sorry" doesn’t seem worth it when it feels like Bull-sh*t! That incline treadmill test? Due to my heart valve, I have those once a year….. I just wish I got a Tee-Shirt and some cheering crowds at the "finish-line" Rather than a semi-disinterested med-tech and another 30 minutes in the waiting room.   NO Cardiac Events for YOU!!

Enjoy carefully pulling out your chest hair when you remove those stickies! Best Wishes- Dx

No cardiac event, but I did have a taylor ham, egg and cheese on a hard roll for breakfast.  I am still a Jersey boy and that is our official state breakfast :)  I'll go back to whites tomarrow... every once and a while you just have to have a treat, right? :)  Now.. for lunch I am thinking a can of crisco and some doritos..   :) :)
