Sashimi
Hi Guys,
I had sashimi in a Japanese restaurant for lunch yesterday. It was great. Sashimi is one of the foods that I really enjoyed pre-op and I wondered how I would tolerate it post-op. Well I'm happy to report that I had no problems at all.
As an added benefit, I can now get out of a Japanese restaurant with a "reasonable" bill, as I can not consume that much volume. And, I am not drinking any alcohol.
If anyone was thinking about sashimi but was afraid--go for it!

Righty-oh, Jim!
Sashimi's mighty fine for me. Packed with protein, great flavor, wonderful texture, excellent variety. I don't eat it as often as Dave-san, but I'm there at least once a week. And for "dessert" I'll usually have a California hand roll. The little bit of rice fills me up and the avocado is a nice treat.
If any of you other guys aren't sure, give it a try. It's great stuff.

I love all manner of sushi/sashimi.
I havent had any since surgery, but I really am starting to feel the pull.
And to get out of a sushi bar for less than $40 a person.. on the low side?
Priceless.
