Hate to hear that Doug, My doc had me on Actigal for the first 6 months after surgery and so far so good for me. I hear the GB can get bad from rapid weight loss. The surgery is really minor compared to the RNY you had, Just a few incisions, I think they bring it out through your belly button. BTW You should put up some before and after pics! You've done excellent and It would be cool to see what an amazing transformation you've made. Hang in there and keep us posted on whats going on. You'll have a speedy recovery I'm sure. Take care.

Doug, Sorry to hear about your gall bladder problems, but I’m sure everything will work out fine. I have a question about gall bladder problems.  What are the symptoms?  What does it feel like?  The reason I ask is that a couple of weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night with a painful gut ache like I’ve never had before.  It wasn’t like what I feel like from dumping.  As I laid there in misery, I was trying to think what could be causing my discomfort.  One of the things that entered my mind was it could be my gall bladder acting up.

For me paul It is a Sharp pain in my gut that Happens about 1/2 hr after I eat and makes me feel like I want to throw up. I get these cramps That come in waves then go away. I get them with any dense protien but not with veggies or soup. I mainly drink My cals now with protien drinks the effects only last about 10mins with a protien shake compared to an hr or so with real food. The pain is not as bad as a kindney stone. but that queasy feeling like someone kicked you in the groin. Best I can descibe it. Doug.

Doug, I had mine out about 21 years ago.  I do not miss it at all.  The surgery was not difficult either. Good luck.
