Jim is doing much better that I would if I was there. I'm not sure I could make it out of Bangkok alive this time. I have not been there since my Navy days around 1985, before AIDs ravaged the place. Lots of great cheap places to party and raise hell. And yes there are some real education opportunities in the bars of Bangkok . I learned a lot there being a young kid from NC, back in the day.

Hi Tim,

Yes, Bangkok is known for being Siamese heaven. My accompanying me out to the go-gos was probably an act of wisdom. It's not only the Asian women that will accompany men to such places, some German women are also less puritanical and go along with the men.
