Weight Training Supp./ Prot. & Vitamin Consolidation

Hey Guys,

I'm getting tired of buying supplements from different places and want to get an all in one. This one has not only protein, but BCAA's, Creatine, Glutamine all in one. I figure if I take this several times a day along with bariatric advantage chewables, I should have all that I need.

hey Dave, funny, i was just reading my new issue that comes from the vitamin shoppe. i was noticing that they consolidate a lot of the creatin, no stuff, glutamine, amminos etc into one powder. why not, when i make my shake i have to dump in the choc powder, creatine, protein, benefiber and whatever else. it's a pain but it's what we have to do. i have all these plastic bottles lined up just to get my shake! it's become a ritual so i try not to think about it too much. i have it easier than you do of course. i can run out and go get my stuff but it's a lot harder being a lifter in Japan I would imagine. so i say get the all in one stuff as long as you're getting the same amount as the individual cans. i use 5mg of creatin and two scoops of protein which is 36 grams. then the other crap. i try to stay away from to many suppliments because they make you go broke but so far, proteing and creatin are by far the best combo i have ever taken......Carbonblob

Hi CB,

Still losing weight like a bugger. I was down almost another pound today, even with the start of the Creatine. Just can't eat much, seems like the swelling may be pressing on the pouch.

I definitely want to consolidate, but I noticed that those sneaky buggers that make this product don't give any details about how much creatine, glutamine, etc. is in the mix. So I'll continue to search.

Please let me know if you see another protein combo. Might just have to mix my own. One place I'm looking at on line is bulknutrition. If you google it, you'll find a lot of bulk powders at much lower prices.

sorry to hear about the pain Dave, been there done that but still no fun when it happens to you. it sounds kind of serious so i hope you keep an eye on it and get that fixed. remember, those shakes cause a lot of gas and bloating so be careful. i get my stuff at either GNC or the vitamen shoppe. google the shoppe and you'll see their combo stuff. they give proportions too. creatine with protein is supposed to be a very good combo when done at the same time. i get the big 5 pound bottles of designer whey at the shoppe and the creatine at gnc. the benefiber we get at costco. like you and the rest of us, we take so much crap i don't want to start taking anything more. as it is i've got to remember to take all this crap! later.....

Actually, I'm getting most of the liquid stuff during the day. After that, when I go home and eat the solid food is when I'm getting the pain. Not getting much gas at all, I get a little more than before, but its probably from the increased intestinal peristalis caused by the narrowing.

I'm usually getting the creatine pretty close to the protein. I'll try the two together. The Creatine is like really fine sand - anything to cover that up!

Hey Dave...And Blob.... Well I have to tell you, I worked a 10 hour shift...with a 60# kid...and handled it well...there was a set of weights there...in the spare room..while he was napping....I did an arm set...only 12#..i know...but i have to restart some where...I go to the doc tomorrw and get tapped again for the fluid...but crap it's benn 6 weeks with no exercise at all...except walking....dang I can tell a difference....but no cardio...i can't afford to loose anymore now...i gotta put on some muscle..... I'm ready to hit the weights with you guys again.... Russ

Hey Dave and Russ, Yeah Dave, the creating tastes like sand but i just swirl it in water and take it that way or put it in my protein shake. i only take it twice a day and only for one month on then one month off. Russ, glad to hear you hitting the weights. hey, we all start somewhere. it took me a long long time to get up to the weights i use now and even today, i don't lift heavy. i don't see the need. i'm getting the results i want with moderate weight although some things i do lift a little heavier. so make those 12# feel like 30's with strict form. that's the secret. good luck....Carbonblob
