Sorry to repost from another post, but I figured not everyone reads every post.. so since I put it up to begin with, I should also update too..  I had my appt Monday.. The doc seemed unconcerned because there are a lack of other symptoms.. but he still ordered a full round of testing. Nuke the site from orbit, its the only way to be sure..   My beats per minute is 55 and he ordered bloodwork, stress test and the silly halter monitor thingie.. I go for this monday My followup is in about three weeks where hopefully I'll be cleared out of the woods.

Good news, Chris.

Does this mean that since I'm 45 and mine RHR is 55, that I need the same?

Best Regards,

Dave

Chris, I’m at 58 bpm right now, and I just sat down at the computer a couple of minutes ago.  I just came in the house from doing some dog training and actually getting some mild exercise.  What’s the big deal about 55?  At my first pre-op exam my at rest rate was 100 bpm.  The doc said it was at the upper range of normal.  What is normal?  I suspect this is “much ado about nothing”.  Keep us posted with medical reports.
