167 - Weight just peeling off...

Hey guys,

No, I'm not at month, 3...I'm approaching month 12! Every since I had that "Internal hernia" scare, the weight has just been peeling off! I even splurged on some creatine, which made my muscles hard as wood, but left me 1/2 lb lighter.

I can't see any muscle loss, I'm drinking enough water and getting enough protein. I guess it's the fact that I've continued running and lifting weights almost daily, but I'm unable to eat much in one sitting, because the food seems to back up more than before. It's like it has to stop to get by a section of my intestines before the pouch can empty. My main meal used to be the evening one, but I can't eat too much, for fear that the pain from food pressure will keep me awake.

Fortunately, things *are* getting through (won't go into detail), so I guess I'm not in too much trouble.

My doc has me scheduled for some small bowel adjustment surgery (lap) on April 19th. Let's hope it makes life easier.

Best Regards,

Dave

Dave you and I are going through simular experiances however I am evous of you. I too am having issues with food backing up satrted for me at the 11mth mark. Dr thinks mine might be Galblader more tests again this week. I am down to only 209 and Will never see 167. My doc doesn't think I will clear 190lb range. To much mussle and heavy bones from being SMO. But after being a 64in waist and now a 34 I can't complain to much. I just saw the cq10 at my local vitiman store that you were talking about last week I think. What does it do should I add it to my stack of Creatine and l-arginine? I take a scoop of nitrobolic once a day. Doug.

Hi Doug,

You might want to try coq10. Not sure how it works, but I never seem to get sore or physically tired any more and am able to lift more weight.

209 is great going from 34 to 64! Good work!

Dave, expect a weight gain with creatine after the loading phase. you should gain 5 pounds but it's all water. now before you freak out it's no****er retention, the one we hate. it's cell saturation. that's why your muscles are going to look bigger. it's the water inside the cells. so you will gain, i promise unless you're just doing cardio to the point of losing your weight. creatine is the best suppliment i've ever taken. my workouts are amazing and recovery is super fast. this stuff is perfect for you because it's meant for heavy lifting and reduces lactic acid build up so, you can lift more. this stuff is incredible. now, you have to go off it for a month. so cycle this stuff. hope you start to feel better my friend.......Carbonblob

Thanks, I think I notice the difference already! I took my loading dose yesterday and a couple of smaller doses today. Workout was good.

I'm feeling fine unless I have to lay down any time within 3-4 hours after eating.

Hey Dude, I know that the 2 big drios I ever had was after the regular hernia repair, and after the internal hernia repair....it just fell off...I don;t think I realized how bad I hurt... in prep for you surgery...hit the arms and the legs hard...you can rely on them and isolate your abs during recovery.... when they do the blood work...you may wanna have them check the PT-PTT..that has to do with clotting....they normally don;t check it..but mine came out of nowhere and zapped them....a real supprise.... hey check you mail...i'm sending you a pic....i finally found one that is minimally decent...after 22 months...a pic...got no idea how to put it on the boards.... not that anyone would wanna see damn i miss the gym...maybe in 2 more weeks...geez Russ

Thanks Russ, I'll have them check the PT-PTT, eat more and try to work out more. Great pics and great to finally see what you look like. Amazing transformation!

Best Regards,

Dave

Thanks, Scott!

It's not too bad, the pain after eating, however is turning me somewhat off to eating. I'm getting in the minimal, though.

Best Regards,

Dave
