If you would like to be less fat, then it is worth it.  If you prefer your current degree of fatness, then not so much.

No prob... Actually I was looking for any advice for those last minute things to do leading up to having surgery,lists, don't do...stuff like that and any sharing of experiences... Thanks, al

Pack light, only the bare essentials. Try to relax, take a massage or something the before. Take slippers if you have them, and your own robe if you choose. Have the house already set up, with the things you will need, before you leave for the hospital. I think Dx has a great prep list he might be able to repost for you. Good Luck. JP

As the previous poster said it is good to bring as little as possible to the hospital, I didn't use anything I had brought. It is also good to prepare somewhat with post-surgery "food".  However don't buy too much of anything as you will be consuming small amounts and tastes change after surgery.
