Okay smart guy (Dx). Answer this.

If I shop the perimeter in the supermarket than how do I get to my favorite chips half way down the chip and soda istle?  Huh.  Answer that one. While I have everyone here (putting Dx in the subject line is a guaranteed draw),  I was thinking about going back into ketosis to shed my remaining 20ish lbs.  First of all is this a good idea at 15 months out and secondly, if so, how many carbs do I want to stay under.  I think I remember it being in the 30 range.  Thanks. Scott

Scott, First- Stay the F’ away from anything that can be called- “my favorite chips.” Second, To guarantee dropping into Ketosis? The Atkins ‘induction diet’ sets the limit at - 20gms Carbs Total for a day.   Go get those last 20!!! Best Wishes- Dx

Thanks man.  I knew you would be around.  I am starting tomorrow after those chops are gone.  Actually, I did shop the horse shoe today and it was real effective.  I like that idea and may pass it on as my own.  Sorry. Scott

I was reading the other day that the number of calories you can take in on a low carb diet is actually not unlimited. On average, if you are eating under 20 grams of carb, you can still only take in about 300-350 more calories daily and still lose weight.

So if you eat a lot of cheese or nuts or other delicious stuff like that, you'll probably not only retain a lot of fluid from the salt content, you're also like to plateu. Another memory I have was that I was drinking a lot of diet soda.

Good Luck,

Dave

Yeah, all of the bodybuilding sites talk of tofu as a testosterone killer. I used to eat more of it, but anything that contains estrogren, I'm now a little wary of...(yoda grammar?)

That said, it might be good for raising my vocal range!

...leave it to the English teacher. It's alright to grade your own posts. However, should mine start coming back market up in red, we are going to need to talk. LOL JP

Hehe...with the English that I use in these posts? How would I dare? I literally go for weeks with 30 minutes of TV a day my only aural English source. I'm becoming a native speaker of Japanese English.
