Randy, I just had a Panniculectomy last summer. I LOVE IT!!!

I went from 385+ to 179 and I’m 50 years old. I had no skin issues except right at the waist. INS covered it completely, No little “dog-ears” at the sides, Just thin, barely visible scar. Yep, my doc also pulled up skin from the pubic mound and ”Mr. Happy” was “Loud and Proud” overnight!!! No change to thighs really, but that wasn’t much of an issue for me. I was hesitant about going under the knife but I’m delighted with the outcome. The swelling continued for long after I had expected it to stop. (about 6 months, it would still swell by at least 2” around my waist by the end of the day.) That eventually ceased and now It’s just flat stomach on down…. My doc had done 6 other men the months just prior to mine And he brought up the topic of reducing the excess skin on the Pubic area. “Most guys want this but don’t mention it…..This is what I can do…” Do ask your PS if he doesn’t bring it up. Hell, if you’re buying, get the full benefit.  Yes? Some recent discussion about PS- http://obesityhelp.com/forums/men/board_id,5479/cat_id,5079/ topic_id,3220359/a,messageboard/action,replies/#24823121   Holler if you have other specifics… Russ (GoToMan) just had his this last month and will have “fresher” memory/experience to pass on…. Best Wishes- Dx

Randy I had an abdominal hernia repair and an anchor cut panniculectomy on July 24th, 2006.  I was cut from my sternum to 2" above Mr. Happy and then I was cut from hip to hip.  The scar looks like a ship's anchor therefore the name, "anchor cut panniculectomy." I am 100% happy with my results.  Even when I don't think they took off enough I will look at my before pictures and quickly realize that they did an excellent job. I did have my pubic mound lifted, but you need to make sure that your doctor knows this ahead of time.  It isn't always something that is "understood."  It makes a world of difference to get that mound lifted.  It actually exposes about 2or more inches of Mr. Happy.  Some docs will include this in the fee and some charge extra.  Make sure you talk with your physician. I don't have points on my sides, but hey, who sees me nude except my wife? The one thing that I would really stress is that you shouldn't have unreal expectations.  You will never look like the Calvin Klein underwear model.  Your skin has been so stretched that it just will not happen.  Also, you will look wonderful in your clothes and you will feel better about yourself in the bedroom. If you have any specific questions just email me. The WAD

Oh my god!!!   Two more inches!  What does that make for ya - 16".   Hey there, it is nice to see you around.  You add a lot to the room.  I wish Buckeye would frequent but I know how it is.   My Doc told me that we would talk PS during my next visit.  I also have an abdominal hernia so hopefully, that will help with approval.  I remember your saga.  Pain in the wad.  Anyway, have a good one. Scott Yeah Scott, 2 more inches.   So that's put it at about 14" for me.  Sorry to disappoint you! WAD

Hey Dave Okay,  you've found out about Buckeye and Scott.  But, I only show them for the money.  Business purposes you know.  A guy has to make some money somehow.  I say, "use all of your natural talents and gifts to your best advantage." Of course, I see you didn't tell on yourself.  Fess up!   WAD

Hi Larry!

That's right, us long timers go through funny changes in body chemistry - it comes with the weight loss! All of those stored up hormones! Glad to hear that work is going better by the way. I mailed Buckeye and I think he intends to post here someday.

Best Wishes,

Dave
