I know you had a thread on this earlier, but I am having trouble navigating the 'new' OH Mens forum. I am assuming you are using the [Insert/Add Link] in the HTML editor, but I cannot get the linked smilies to work... What am I doing wrong? Semper Fidelis!

Hi SF Dad,

Really all you should have to do is copy and paste the image (not any code) into your post. However, as you can see from my flopped image, it sometimes depends on the source. If the site is busy, it may not appear and many sites that do not specialize in smilies may have their images blocked from appearing on other sites. I tried several google images, for example, but none of them worked. If you have people posting images from your account here there and everywhere, it can really be a tremendous draw on your server, so a lot of sites have begun to block this.

Dx,

Just saw the "machine gun" gif. That is priceless! Although, I have to say that the topless smiley skirt moon in the Weekly Weigh in is up there too!

Hi Dave, I'll be in your hemisphere on Friday (your time) and  probably fly right over your house on my way to Narita.  I'm planning to be in East Asia for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.  It will be my first time traveling since the surgery.  I'm a little nervous, but should do fine. I packed some protein supplements and related items just in case. Any suggestions for me?

Hi Jim,

The water here is okay, but protein supplements are a little hard to find, and also pricey. Eat lots of fresh sashimi. Don't worry, you'll be fine. I find that I get full much more easily when I travel, or it could be the time difference and body clock.

A good source of protein is vinegar mackerel. You should be able to see it in some convenience stores (or at least grocery stores). It's basically one side of a small dark fish, lightly preserved with vinegar and sealed in a plastic package. I love those things.

Good Luck,

Dave
