Hey Tim,  Way to go man! It's great to see you're still losing. You'll be surprised that you'll still take off pounds, but it just won't be such a noticeable difference from week to week.  How's everything else? Joe

Tim,

Way to lose! From what I remember, like Joe Wollet, you are pretty tall. I'm guessing you look pretty slender by now. Hope that back is doing well, too.

With the weight gain I experienced last week, I decided to put myself on 1200 calorie daily max, partial liquid diet this last week (Breakfast & Lunch liquid with a very small solid food Supper) to ‘Jump Start’ things back in the correct direction. Two words… ‘It Worked’! It looks like I am back on track. I have a ‘Silent Goal’ to have my BMI migrate from my current Super Morbidly Obese (BMI 50.8534) to just Morbidly Obese (BMI 49.9970) before I get my first fill on 08Mar07. I have 5.8 more # to lose, and 11 days to do it for that to occur. I know it sounds weird to desire to be Morbidly Obese, but I have had the word ‘SUPER’ (BMI 57.4390) in front of it so long that I will be dancing in the streets to lose it. With that all being said, here are my results to date… Ooooo Raahh! 05Oct06          389.0   -           Initial Consult with Illinois Bariatric Clinic

14Jan07           385.8   -           3.2# loss since Initial Consult

17Jan07           383.4   -           Pre-Op Consult - 2.4# loss (Start Liquid Diet)

21Jan07           371.2   -           12.2# loss since Pre-Op Consult

28Jan07           362.8   -           8.4# Loss since last Sunday

30Jan07           359.6   -           Lap Banding today 3.2#! Loss since last weigh

04Feb07          355.2   -           4.4# Loss since surgery date.

08Feb07          352.8   -           Post-Op Consult - 2.4# loss since Sunday

11Feb07          349.6   -           3.2# Loss since Post-Op Consult

18Feb07          350.2   -           0.6# GAIN since last Sunday

25Feb07          344.4   -           5.8# Loss since last Sunday

44.6# Loss overall                                                   15.2# Loss since surgery Semper Fidelis!

Hi Dexter, Strange, I'm sure I posted my weigh last week, but when looking up the thread to see if there's adifference this week, I can't find it. Anyways... 304 lbs... My all time high! BUT Starting on 3 weeks of Optifast Pre-Op diet as of tomorow. So, the scale numbers should start going down, and my nervous index should start going up. I do customer service (software support)... I wonder if I should change my email signature to : "Don't F***k with me!"  My wife had her surgery (Lapband) on Valentine's day and she also did 3 weeks of diet, and she says she wasn't hungry during that time. Actually she was supposed to take 4 Optifasts a day, and ended up taking 3 most days. She lost 20 pounds during that period. and is down 30pounds 1 week post-op. I have to admit those are encouraging numbers! Thanks to all of you for sharing in here, although I look more than I participate, what I read is important to me. Regards,
