Hey Joe,
Congratulations on making to goal!
After reading your post, I would definitely say the positives far outweigh the negatives, the negative being BP meds. 428>>>225 is an incredible accomplishment and one that you SHOULD absolutely be proud of. I'm aproaching 7 months and am down 100 myself. I already feel like my goal is achieved, although I have 31 more to lose. I'm in no hurry, just along for the ride. Enjoy every minute of your new life. You deserve it!
Day of surgery weight 352
Current weight 250
Total Lost 102
Height 6'3"

Ron,
You sound just like me, in that the closer I got to goal, the less obsessed I was with reaching it. The surgery fades into more distant memory and you're living life each day. Practicing what they taught us about nutrition, hydration, exercise and achieving balance becomes the important part.
I still weigh myself every day (anal personality), but it's more for my own curiosity than anything. I'd like to lose a little more weight (even though I've got friends and relatives saying "you need to stop losing" [MYOB]), but the weight loss is no longer the important part, it's the living.
Losing 100 lbs. in seven months is a great accomplishment, Ron. Just stay focused on the things you want to do with your life now.
Joe
