Hi Doc,

I know you must be extremely busy. Just wondering if you have time to answer Dan's question above. Can weight loss be beneficial over age 60-65 or does the muscle/ mobility loss outweight many of the benefits? Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Dave

I know it may just be a glimmer of hope BUT Dr Crookes at USC said he had patients as old at 70. Don't what the BMI or other health issue were present. If theres a will ther may just be a way

I'm a true believer in "where there's a will, there is a way". But, I must agree that my friend needs to do some work. losing some weight before he goes for WLS. I'll look into Dr. Crookes! Thank you! My dear friend sure has life in in his eyes and he doesn't look his age at all..I can not just give up on him. I'll do what I can and hopefully he and his wife can pick up the ball so to speak, in getting more help. When I did see that glimmer of hope in this couple..it made me happy for them..what in this world is worse than hopelessness? I appreciate all you guys for your input and help.. glad I came here! THANK YOU ALL! Janet
