I found a cereal this weekend that I really like.  Some of you may already know about it but it is called Kashi Go Lean Crunch.  What I like about it is that a 1/2 cup gives you 9 grams of protein.  Plus it really tastes good.  I'll even throw some in a zip lock dry and munch on it as a snack. Here is a link with the nutritional info.  Does anybody see anything I should be concerned about? http://www.kashi.com/ourfood/GOLEAN/GOLEANCrunch/Default.aspx On second look, are the carbs high on this?  Damn, no wonder I liked it. Nope..Kashi makes good stuff.  The crunch is a little caloricly expensive for my tastes.. but to each thier own.  I mix 1/2 a cup with 1 cup of dannon lite and fit yogurt....damn tasty :)

Kashi is a good product, but I think a little heavy with carbs & sugar. Check ou Hi-Lo cereals @  www.nutritious-living.com   1/2 cup is about 90 cals, 12g protein, very little sugar & fat. It's makes for a crunchy snack too. You get more bang for the buck (IMHO) Jay

I agree about the sugar issue.  I have looked a Kashi and Weigh****cher cereals...and they are all pretty high in sugar (higher then I prefer).  I am a rice crispies or grape nut trail mix kinda guy...

The kashi stuff is great for me.  I don't mind the carbs during training and the high protein is also a nice touch.  I love their products. Scott

I don't mind Kaschi products.  They are a lot healthier than the things I ate before.  I enjoy the very vanilla oatmeal.  I never ate breakfast until I started with Kaschi oatmeal.  Now, everyday. I'll try the crunch in the yogurt.  Sounds tasty. Keep up the great work Phil
