Congestion and cold stuff
I know this is going to condemn me to be sick for sure, but, so far, 5 months out, and with a wife and two kids at home in school, with numerous colds and flu having passed thrugh our family this winter, I haven't had more than a stuffy nose. I use nose spray with extra moisturizer for that. But with the vitamins and minerals, I guess, I have been passed by to-date from the cold bug. Sorry I couldn't help. I have wondred about the Night-Time/Nyquill myself after the warnings about alcohol consumption and being a cheap date after RNY surgery. I don't drink alcohol so the affects of the liquid cold medicines concerns me some too.
Most cold medicines have the same ingredients. Make sure that whatever you take has a decongestant, like Pseudoephedrine HCl or Phenylephrine HCl. That is the most important. Some expectorant like Guaifenesin along with the decongestant can be good as well.
"Tylenol Sinus Congestion & Pain Severe" has those things along with some acetaminophen.
