Chili just came back from the vets tonight and it's a matter of days to weeks now. the liver failure is too complete. I want to thank all of you in advance for your kind words of encouragement and warmth. I'm not going to respond after this post, I hope you understand it's just too painful to keep saying thank you. I just wanted to say one big thanks to all of you *****sponded in our time of need. we'll keep him as comforatable as we can and squeeze him every chance we get. thank you one and all for being there in our most trying times lately. we have but one more difficult decision to make and we'll do it when he says it's time. thanks again and please understand why I'll just leave this post blank......Fred

Oh, man........I've been there right where you are right now, so know that you're not alone with your feelings.  I've gone through this several times with dogs that meant the world to me.......I know it sounds like a cliche, but the love does go on..... All the best, Bill

Fred I feel for you bro.  Dogs are like kids, you care for them and they bring you joy.  Know Chili is happy just being with you.  You'll know when the time is right.  Take care. Sonny

You will be assimilated, resistance is futile.

Fred,
I really don't want to add to the misery by spilling my own recent doggie heartbreak.
Just want to throw some support behind you, bro... and let you know that I can relate.

Be Well,
A.J.
