OK guys, this one is a probably a wierd one and more psychological than anything else.  This morning  I was able to put on the first pair of jeans in 18 years!  Let me give you a little history.  I put on most of my initial weight while going to grad school.  I went from about 223 to 308 in a year.  In that process, the jeans (and all my clothes for that matter) got tight and then too small.  In the process, I moved from Columbus, OH to Atlanta - and then again to South Florida.  Although I could have bought larger size jeans, it was simply too hot and/or too uncomfortable to do so.   This early morning (3:30am) I was shopping at Wal-Mart and came across some relaxed fit Levi's that were 6 inches less in waist from where I was three months ago.  Not only did they fit, my butt can't fill out the seat of the jeans!!!!  It's a wierd feeling to say the least.  My wife of nearly 10 years has never seen me wear a pair of jeans.  I'm curious to her reaction.   Anyway, sort of wierd, but wanted to share.  Perhaps someone has had a similar experience. Have a blessed week!!! Greg

Greg, Congratulations!  It must have felt great to wear jeans after all that time. I have several pair of really nice pants in my closet for at least 5 years.  I had them tailor made in Bangkok.  However, I gained a lot of weight shortly after I got them and didn't wear them at all.  But this morning I tried them on, and guess what, they fit!   I'm really glad to have some more nice pants for work.  A couple of weeks ago, I cleaned out most of the size 60s from my closets.  I had to buy a couple of pairs to keep me going.  They were 54s.  Now they are very loose on me.  So, the timing on my old Bangkok pants is perfect. Hey Greg, Way to go on the Jean Fart! I quit trying to wear them when I couldn't get a 54 waist to button, now I wear 42's that are getting loose. It's a good feeling to be able to go to WalMart and buy clothes there. I used to wear nothing but Sweatpants in the winter time...now I just sleep in them lol. Take care man and keep on farting.

Greg, Way to go, isn't it a great feeling to see some results from all of your hard work! You and I must be running neck and neck. We had the surgery's so close together and I needed jeans , so I went out shopping Fri and same thing here, the new jeans are 6 inches smaller in the waist since the surgery. It does feel great and it looks better than wearing those old baggy ones. I just have to ask you though, what the hell are you out shopping in Walmart at 3:30 in the morning?????   Dan
