Sugar Free Red Bull!
I was in our local grocery and saw some Sugar Free Red Bull in the cooler. I hadn't had a Red Bull since the surgery so I picked one up and I was pleasantly surprised. I really couldn't tell the difference between it and the regular version.
Does anybody know if there is anything in Red Bull that is bad for those of us post surgery. I don't think I'd ever drink a bunch of it, but for an occasional pick me up, I kind of like it.
Thanks

Scott:
You have hit me where I live.
Sugar free red bull.. is my current vice... Prior to wls I drank 16oz sugar free rock-star.. by the case..
Post surgery the sugar free rock star was way too crbonated ( huge bubbles).. burping etc.
I sampled 9oz. sugar free lightly carbonated red bull.. and to my surpise.. no problems with burping etc.
The Stomach / balloon is an urban WLS MYTH. You cannot fill a balloon with a hole in each end, which our stomach has.. jusy my opinion...
The one thing I love about sugar free red bull is the vitamin b6 &b12... even if I lose 1/2 of it.. it is still more than one days recomended amount.
I buy sugar free red bull by the case, I have 4 to 6 a day... I am hooked.. it is my starbucks.. it is my coffee...
I feel that 1- 3 a day is a more apprpriate amount.. but alas..I have yet to cut down to that amount...
I love the caffeine buzz.. I love how it kills my appitite.. I feel it accelerates my metabolisim.. and it helps my me burn calories..
This may not work for anyone else...take it or leave it ...
By the way... Love your profile..
