Hi Men, Couldn't stand it any  longer. Had to ride the Geezer Glide to work today. The cold doesn't bother me I can dress for that, especially since my clothes fit so loose. I usally don't ride when there is ice or snow, but is about all gone, main roads are dry, so I had to ride today. I think it's  up to about 35 degrees this afternoon, regular heat wave. It has been at least two weeks, maybe three and my mental state was getting bad. So I had to do it for my wife's sake. Yeah, thats it, no I really did it so my wife could stand me.  Riding is a major release for me and I get hard to live with if I have to stay cooped up for very long.  What does every one else do in the winter to drive the funk away, or as some call it cabin fever? pan head

Wish I could tell you about my ride this past week...unfortunetly it's still in the low teens to single digits and the roads are ice packed.  My bike is sitting in my shop all covered up and warm for the winter, but it mocks me everytime I walk by!!!  'Salright...spring is a coming and I'll drag it out yet again!!

Yeah, it was 7 at the airport and 12 here at the house this morning. Snow is coming in tomorrow so had to ride today if I was going to get a chance. WINTER SUCKS !! This Feb. is on track to be the coldest on record here in WV. Official high today was in the mid 20's. Back up in the 40's by the end of next week. As bad as I hate to say it I am looking forward to mowing grass. pan head

Yeah, ice and snow sucks. Barboursville is about 10 miles east of Huntington. It is where the mall is before you get to Huntington on Interstate 64. pan head

Glad somebody is getting some riding in! I kind of got excited when I heard we might get up to 40 later this week, but then woke up to see another 4 inches of snow  fell last night.  It will take a few weeks of thawing here before I can even consider taking mine out.  I've even considered busting my trailer out and hauling the bike south for a week.  I'm tired of being stuck inside most of the time! Watch out for ice! Matt
