Russ, Was it a Seroma? I was fortunate and nothing like it with my PS, But had a HUGE Seroma- (1.5 liters) From previous reconstruction of my abdominal muscles. Eeeekk! Had it drained about every 2 weeks for 3 months. Eventually it was left alone as the fluid began to “Organize” and began more gelatinous “Goo” rather than fluid. It re-absorbed SLOWLY into my body as it was basically eaten as a source of protein by my system. By SLOWLY, I’m talkin’ 6 more months before it was completely gone. Not too bothersome, just a big azzed Lump on my stomach. When they were first draining it, It would produce about 10% less ‘out-put’ with each aspiration. The reason mine was such an issue was because I’m on Coumadin for Life. (Artificial Heart Valve) and I had/have a 38x50cm sheet of Kevlar Mesh holding all of my “Frankenstein-esque” Abdominal muscles in place. (some ‘external obliques’ serving as ‘internal obliques’ and for some missing “Rectus Abdominis muscles”) Way Too Much Info--- Yes! To speed the re-absorbtion of the Seroma, My Doc recommended Extra Water intake, and lower Sodium intake. My Bariatric Nutritionist (I have a separate one from my Cardiologist) recommended eating Parsley in or on Everything I cooked / ate, where it would be ok in the food. That and extra celery. Apparently those are both mind diuretics and cause the body to seek out internal fluid for use. They speed the processing of waste through the system… That’s so much more than anyone ever need to know, but sounds like you’re stuck on the Board for a bit, waiting to finish up healing… Thought I’d throw some more crap for you to read…. Hang in there! And demand a little foreplay Before they head at your crotch with sharp shiny instruments!! Now I'm back to work ..............for Hours and Hours....... Best Wishes- Dx
