Thursday Coffee Talk

Good Thursday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine. It's going to be a COLD but wonderful day. Stay warm and have a great Thursday! Our challenge today is to taste life. Taste it's goodness. Taste it's fullness. Don't just nibble at it but go for it full force. We as WLS'ers mostly nibble at our small portions. We do that so we can be thin. Well, let's not do that pertaining to life. Eat the whole plate! I've lived the last year just nibbling on life. Just barely surviving on a few bites becoming anorexic and withdrawing spitting out bites here and there. Well, not any longer! I'm gonna eat life and enjoy every good clean wholesome full bite! Can ya tell I had some thinking time and some reality time on that cruise? I am so thankful that I had the chance to go. I almost backed out when our home burned. Then the night before I was to leave, reality of the fire hit Allison and she and I had our crying time balled up on the bed. Then the same night my mom was rushed to the ER with chest pains. I came so close to canceling that trip. Boy, I'm glad Allison was ok with me going and my Mom was ok. Even though she had to be admitted the day before I got home (she's ok now). I'm rambling. Thank GOD we are alive and able to EAT LIFE! Let's enjoy EVERY bite! So! Who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on Milestone's Breakfast Blend and ya know what? It's pretty good! Gotta love the taste of that first cup o joe in the a.m. I hope you have a FULL and TASTEFUL day today!

Hey Randall!!!

I am happy that youa are able to taste life and enjoy it after so many problems you had... Some times dealing with our weight is not easy at all... our compulsive habits are still there and we have to deal with them in other ways... I hope your mother and your family are well...

I am up, not drinking nothing yet... the day here at Guadalajara seems like it's going to be beautiful, not cold at all... we do not have snow here and looks like it's going to be a clear sunny day here...

Best Regards

Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

Hello Alejandro, I am glad to hear that you are doing well!  Maintaining your weight of 185 lbs. is fantastic.  Your new picture looks great. I hope that you are able to pop in from time to time to say hello. Your buddy in Oklahoma Scott M.

Welcome back Randall.  I try to follow your advice, and today WILL be a good day to taste life.  I'm content in the path I'll be taking.  The talk is over and its time for action.  Your ability to be positive despite life's cir****tances is inspirational.  Where did your cruise take you and what was the weather like?  I went on a cruise last spring to Cozamel, Grand Caymon,  and a couple other tropical places that are slipping my mind.  I've got the pumpkin spice coffee going on in "full effect" right now.  Again, welcome back. Sonny

You will be assimilated, resistance is futile.

Randall, This is the first time I have seen picture of your family.  You are blessed with two lovely children.  We often post to you notes of encouragement and prayers.  I hope you share them with the kids, because they have experinced the life that came your way also.  God Bless. drjco
