Hi Guys, I just wanted to say hi and to thank everyone for the motivation I have gotten by lurking here.  I have only lost 15 lbs since my surgery date (6-19-06).  I felt that I was failing with the band as I had failed with every other diet in my life. Then I went for an agressive fill last week.. and oh what a change!  Never underestimate the power of a proper fill. I hope to be a little more interactive with everyone.  I know that it helps me to be accountable to a group.  I have lost 6 lbs since my fill last week

Dwayne, Congratulations for getting back on track with your Band. (a friend of mine who had Lap-Band says that he- “Swapped Will Power for Fill-Power!”) Glad you found this place…. Throw out any questions or ideas< There’s always someone here with a story to swap. Best Wishes-

Dwayne Second to all the knowledge I gain from the board, the most important thing that it offers me is accountablity.  You are correct that there can be no accountability without participation.  I am glad you are participating.  I hope other lurkers follow your lead if they are our there.   Congratulations on the recent success. Dwayne, Welcome to the locker room.  There is no need to be shy in here.  We are all brothers. I'm glad to hear that your fill is working for you.  Six pounds in a week is remarkable, but now you have to do your part.  Join us for the Sunday weigh in.  I find that it keeps me focused on what I need to do to be successful... most of the time.

May Your Lantern Burn Bright,
Paul
