Got My Date!!!!

Lap RNY February 28th at Durham Regional in NC, surgeon from the the Duke University WLS Center -- about ten months after attending my first WLS seminar. I am inordinately psyched about getting this show on the road, and getting on the road to reclaiming big chunks of my life. Thanks once again to all; reading this forum has been a huge help, and I hope I can help others similarly as I go through my journey. Jeff Honeyman

Congrats - a Gastroenterologist friend told me that Duke was the best out there. I had an RNY 1/15/07, and am now 50 lbs down from my first consult, and 25 down from surgery. I"ve had some issues with travel - which has prompted me to pack my own food in my luggage - but it's not been bad. Welcome to the bench. You'll be withering away to your old self before you know it.
