hey, I ma a nurse on home care and was doing a suppos on a guy and he had a vagal response ie..vagus nerve and he arrested and cpr with help from a cpap saved him. got his heart going again. he is ok but that nerve is a *****! phil

Wow! Don't want that to happen to me. What is a "Suppos?" (all that googles up is suppository, probably not that). There's a type of vagal response that causes cardiac arrest? Thanks, Dave

yep that is it, constipated people who bear down to go can pass out or arrest. phil
