Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are one week away as to surgery dates... My experiences seem alot like yours.. For some strange reason, my wife and kids remind me I was a bit "CRABBY" for several months..... I just told them to leave me the FU7k alone . But today as you do... I look forward to the next leg of our journey.. some fear of " I will blow it".... mostly the giddy excitement of having a body that serves me well. Keep up the great work kev-

Doug, My own surgery is coming up at the end of the month, and experiences like yours help give me confidence about the job ahead and comfort that others have successfully taken the same journey. I'm doing this for me, too, and am determined to stop neglecting myself and disproportionately putting others' needs ahead of my own. So thanks for the rant, and congratulations! Jeff
