Topic: Hair Loss
I'm 15 weeks post-op from my rny and my hair is falling out in droves!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got really thick dark hair and usually wear it up so I can't really notice the impact all of this loss has taken just yet but... it's alarming the handfulls I clear out of the shower drain, not to mention the stray hairs all over my house

I've been on top of my supplements since day one including 1,000 mg's of biotin daily.

Please assure me this will stop at some point, I'm stariting to freak out that I will completely lose it (my mind and my hair)

Got home yesterday. Pain has been well controlled with the Roxicet (liquid percocet).
Last night had some nausea, but didn't vomit.
Was able to get in 16oz  of protein shakes which was about maybe 40-50g of protein
and 16oz of clear fluids (water and jello)

I was a bit fluid overloaded in the hospital, because I had experienced a side effect from a med used for nausea. Once the patch was d/c'd I started urinating better (my weight had gone up about 12 lbs, just from the hydration). I'm also sweating off some of that extra fluid.

I see the surgeon on Monday for staple removal.

Here's to a good day!!

Topic: Post Op Question
Hi All, my husband is 3 weeks post op and has an odd complaint.  He says when he's talking a lot (like busy at work) he feels some tightening in his chest and almost a feeling of shortness of breath.  Any thought?
