Thanks for your input. I wish I went elsewhere only because it took so long even after two lap band surgeries and all the testing over 6months you wou think they work smoothly but they don't it's always you have another appointment when I had already completed them

My process was a little less than 4 months from the introductory meeting to Surgery date.  And that included a three month supervised diet required by my insurance.  But I was lucky in scheduling, getting cancellation dates a couple times.

Good luck with your weight loss process.

I was very pleased with my surgeon and team at Lahey, but I suspect Boston Medical is good, as well.

Good luck with your revision.

No experience with Boston Medical but I love Dr. Julie Kim who works at both Tufts and Mount Auburn. She did my revision from band to bypass this summer and I feel wonderful. She's s fantastic surgeon and I love her whole team.

I have not , but am interested also. I am looking for a revision from RNY done in 2003. Due to not losing entire goal weight. I gained back 30 pounds out of the 120 loss in 12 years primarily due to weight loss stopped before I reached my goal  and I have sciatic nerve and degenerative disc disease and that does not allow to exercise as much as I need to. Would be interested in finding anyone with similar situation. I am considering South Coast as it is closest to where I live and would be easier to get to. My original Surgeon was at Tufts In Boston. My first appointment is on the 15th with my PCP for the referral. Can anyone share how long the whole process takes before surgery? I spent a whole year first time around and hoping it wont take that long again. Thank you for any info.
