hi there!!

Thanks!  Funny - i just updated my blog.  I've been bad.  I'm also on youtube which i update once per week!

I had VSG surgery with Dr. Partridge on April 12 2012.  It was THE BEST thing I've ever done.  The entire experience has been nothing buy positive.  She is an amazing Dr, has been super fantastic with me since the beginning, and I feel fortunate that she's my Dr.

I go to the support group meetings a lot.  I'm going tomorrow night (I know it's the intro meeting but I like to be there if anyone has quesitons).

hope to meet you in person soon.  If you see me at meeting, please introduce yourself.

I cannot say enough great things about NWH and the center for weight loss and Dr. Partridge in particular.

Hi Steve. I am following your blog on bloodspot. Hope you blog more often!
I'm having RNY w/ Dr Patridge on June 18th and am extremely excited. Contrary to the post by KixFlix, I find her to be amazing and very caring. I brought my son in for one of my appts and she was playing around with him and joking.
I am extremely excited

I have Neighborhood health/ commonwealth care. I had surgery Feb. 8th, 2012. My app. are at the Faulkner Hospital but I had surgery at the Brigham & Women due to my BMI was very high. My Dr. is Dr. Jooyeun Chung. I did not have to take the 6 month classes, but I think that might have changed now. I did have to wait 6 months due to my surgeon wanted me to lose 50 lbs. before surgery. Don't get me started on how happy I'm with my whole journey from the Dr., staff, hospitals, nut., & etc... Here is the number for the clinic 617-732-8500

Dr. Sabrena Noria and Dr. Charles Bellows at Tulane-Lakeside accept Medicaid. Here's a link to their website for more information.

Topic: Recommendation for plastic surgeon or PS clinic in MA?
I am looking for a plastic surgeon in MA or New England.  Does anyone have suggestions. Also if you would share what your procedure cost that wouldbe so helpful. Also, has anyone used a residency clinic and was there a discount?  I have been all over the plastic surgery board and there is very little New England input. Thanks in advance!

Topic: RE: Severe Gas Pain
When I read you had antibiotics I knew what you had.  Antibiotics kills all the GOOD bacteria in the gut, along with the bad.  The bad bacteria are then allowed to proliferate which cause the gas, bloating & other problems.  I learned this many years ago.
Now, doctors are finally recommending taking probiotics every time you take antibiotics for any infection.
You can start probiotics now to start getting the healthy flora back in the gut.
You can buy them at the pharmacy or a health food store.
Warning - start slowly & build up the dose, otherwise you can increase the problem.
