Definately yummy, soft and moist as well, so I recommend storing in the fridge once cooled.  I made these last night and brought them to the Bridgewater support group. They got rave reviews and I was asked to post it...  I just like sharing I guess LOL

Chunky Monkey Protein Cookies

1 package of sugar free Pillsbury Yellow Cake Mix

¼ cup of unsweetened applesauce

¼ cup of splenda

2 eggs

½ cup of banana baby food

½ cup of semi sweet chocolate chips

2/3 cup of chopped nuts (I used pecans, I don’t like walnuts)

2 scoops of vanilla protein powder

Preheat oven to 400o F, Spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray, set aside. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, protein powder, applesauce, splenda, eggs and babyfood, stirring with a spoon until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop heaping tablespoon of the dough on baking sheets, spacing 2in apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on wire rack.

Meg,

Lean Dessert flavors are made by BSN, I buy them through GNC online though, as the stores dont normally have all the yummy flavors. But honestly, you could use whatever vanilla protein powder you want instead of the cinnamon roll, Im sure it would be just as yummy.  By the way, I am posting two more recipes for cookies in just a minute so check them out!

Hope your doing well!!

i got this invite from the surgeon that I consulted with.  I thought he was great, and he works with the bariatric surgeons at Newton-Wellesley well - and is very experienced with bariatric needs.  I have not moved forward due to $, but he does work with insurance companies - I just happen to have a particularly stubborn company.

This is a reminder that Christopher Davidson MD's Open House will take place Thursday, October 28th from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Fraser Medical Building, 332 Washington Street, Suite 100, Wellesley, MA.
