Looking to start a group for men & women who have had Bariatric or who are looking to have surgery. To share their experience's and support  one another in a relaxed no pressure atmosphere. Maybe in a church hall or a small coffee shop, in the Greater Bellingham Ma. Area. Thanks so much. I am doing a bit better. Had some trouble the first few days after. Now I am pacing myself and keeping mushies and some meat down...some veggies too. Im going to wait on fruit as it has sugar. :) I just feel weak. Trying to keep my fluids in too. I think this chalky pink syrup they gave me really does coat my tummy and help keep it calm. :)

I met with my surgeon on Thursday... I'm scheduled for May 3rd!  It seems so close!  I must admit that I was pretty nervous at the doctor's office and threw up during the explanation of risks, etc... which is so silly b/c I've been preparing for this for so long.  It was pretty funny that the nurse was like, 'oh that happens all the time around here.'  Yuck!  :)

Anyhow, I'm really hoping to find support and stuff from people on the board here in the next couple of weeks and hopefully for a long time!  I already have a pep in my step knowing my 'new life' is beginning soon!
