Has anyone been accepted for Lap Band from Empire BCBS PPO? I have been denied! Thank you

Hi there...check your insurance policy it may be an exclusion set forth by your employer. They have to say whether they will pay for the surgery more often than the insurance co themselves. Because many people with BCBS have ahd surgery. Or you may need to check with them for the specific reason you were denied perhaps a 6 month supervised diet is required. Good luck!
