Denied Again By Cigna and Appeal Was Sent by My PCP by Mistake

Can you believe the luck I'm having with this process? My PCP addressed her letter for my appeal to Cigna and sent to Dr. Randall for his appeal package to be sent. Well apparently my PCP's office sent her letter to Cigna as well and they have sent me a denial because there was no supporting documentation. DAH!!!! I just emailed Dr. Randall to see if this is going to hurt me in any way. Does anyone think it's time to just go to an attorney with all this or just have Dr. Randall complete what he's started. He has everything Cigna is looking for, they just didn't get it. UGH!!! I'm so frustrated. Lorraine

I would get your Doc to submit everything to CIGNA. I would also call CIGNA and let them know there was a mix up and they will be getting the necessary paperwork they need to make a decision. Good Luck to you!
