NEMC Anyone?

Is anyone having surgery at NEMC around the 18th? I would love to hear from you. Linda

Hi linda I too am the 18th for a lapband but in bringham with dr.lautz...do you have to go on liquids prior? I start tomorrow for one week..I am getting nervous...Janice

Hi Linda: I had my surgery( laprospocic bypass) on 1/19/05 with Dr Shikora at NEMC. It was a great experience. They gave wonderful care and I had very little pain. There post op treatment is very extensive and caring. I have lost 102 lbs ...30 preop and 72 post op. The first few weeks are tough because you are changing old habits and your mind dosnt want to go along with your body. But each week it gets easier. Good luck ..soon you will be on the losing side.
