i've been going thru my clothes, just keeping what i need for the next month or so. being the same size (26/28 or 30/32) for 19 years gives me ALOT of clothes. i donated 5 boxes to rosie's place. i kept 3 boxes of things i wanted to try and consign. i've called 2 places in newton but they won't take these sizes. i put a notice on craig's list but i don't expect alot of response from that. years ago there used to be a place on the cape but that's closed and i used to send to a place in oakland but that's so expensive. other than donating clothes, what have you done with yours?

Maybe you have a yard sale for large clothes. Post it on the web. I'm sure you'll get alot of response and meet people who have or maybe going to have surgery. I went from a 22 to 18 now and had lots of clothes I couldn't wear in the closet prior to surgery. My kids keep asking if I went shopping. Carolyn

There is a clothing exchange somewhere within this Obesity Help site - just not sure where it is though... Liz -42

I think there is a clothing consignment store in Norwood center. I've never been there, but have a few dresses that I'd like to take over. I'm so glad to read that you donated clothes to Rosie's place, they're always so thankful to get clothes in bigger sizes. My husband is on his way there now with 5 bags of size 22/24 and 26/28 that I no longer fit into! YooHoo!!
