having a tough nite
Keeping praying Candace and know that you are being held in the thoughts and prayers of all on this wonderful website. You have turned this over to your Higher Power and allowing work through a surgeon in whom who have placed your trust. You have done your research, now just try to let it go. I found looking at the before and after pictures inspiring and exciting in the nights before my surgery. Best wishes and speedy recovery. Luann
Hi Candace... please know you arent alone.. i cried about every night for at least 2 weeks before my surgery!! i'm not sure what it is, but crying seems to be the norm!! remember your reasons for having surgery, and i agree with the previous poster that looking at before and after pics helped alot!! lots of luck for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!! Hi Candace,
I too understand your feelings. I am considering surgery, and would probably be working toward it already except for my kids. I have two teenage daughters, and they have both asked me NOT to have it. So, I am waiting and still researching etc. Any surgery is scary, and this one is no different. Maybe you should make yourself a list, write down all the positive reasons for having it, and all the negative reasons for not. And, try to believe in your success, and the success of the surgery. I think all of us fatties get to a point where we believe nothing will work any more and this too will be a failure. Hang in there and keep pushing those negative thoughts away...AND, if you really get too scared and unsure, remember, you can always cancel it. (I know, people won't like reading that, but its true.) Good luck.
