Support Group?

Hi Everyone, I've been tossing around the idea, (in my head), of starting a support group closer to my home. I live in Waltham, MA, (near Newton, Watertown, Arlington, Burlington, Lexington, etc.), if anyone is interested, e-mail me and let me know. I think it would be a great idea to have a group that maybe meets once or twice a month. I had open-RNY on May 10th, but even pre and long time post-ops feel free to let me know if you're interested. Hi Michelle...just saw your note about a support group. Even though I live in Danvers, I wouldn't mind coming to your area. I had lap band surgery on June 23rd and Lahey Burlington has a lap band support group and a gastric bypass support group. Please let me know more about your group if you form it. Jan

Hi - I also live in Waltham! My program at St. E's includes a support/education group that meets once a month. It's great, but there is never enough time for everyone who has info or questions. And there is very little time to get to know others in the group. I would be very interested in getting together with other post-surgicals and wanna-be's. (I'm in the latter category.) I'll be watching for replies. Kate
