revision of VGP

Hi , I had a VGP 5 years ago and the staple line broke , so I took all the weight back...I am thinking now about the gastric by pass operation and I would like to know if there is anyone that had the same case in MA.I live in Boston and I am looking to find an experience doctor. Thank you!

Of course, Im biased because both my husband and I went there, but, Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston was great!! All their surgeons are very gifted and experienced....... Good Luck!!

There are many experienced surgeons in Boston. Tufts NEMC & BIDMC have large multidisciplinary programs that I looked at before deciding in BIDMC. But Dr. Hess at BMC, Dr. Randall at MGH & Dr Robinson & Lautx at BWH all do a lot of surgeries. Good luck making the decision. Where did you have the VBG? Donna

Thank you all for your help ! Donna , I had the operation in Greece , and at the beggining everything was fine.I believe that after 2 years the staple line broke and I took back all the 70 lb I lost!
