does anyone know????

Hi all, I need some help please, I received a letter from MAHEALTH today stating I was up-graded from ESSENTIAL to STANDARD but of course it doesn't tell you what it covers. Does anyone know if it covers the surgery? I have an appointment with a PCP on the 4th of June. I am hoping this is the start of my journey. I am so anxious to get started. Any help anyone that has or has had with MAHEALTH and knows if the surgery is covered I would appreciate. Thanks for your help. Cathy

I have MassHealth standard and my surgery is approved and scheduled for July 12th.

Is there a number on the back of your card that you can call MassHealth and talk to someone who handles coverage?? You don't want to go into this blind or get caught in a snag because this is covered and that isn't. Good Luck! Erin
