poop anyone?

I had surgery a week ago. Today I feel like my belly is filling up with gas bubbles. I left the hospital Sat after having diahrrea for what seemed forever. I had one more toilet session Sat night - again - gross and my bowels have been quiet ever since - too quiet. I am burping but little is going out the other end. My scar site feels fine but my lower belly and back are killing me. Is this normal? Any suggestions?

Sounds normal to me....but if you are at all concerned...it does not hurt to call the doc....just to be sure.

oh bella..that is going to pass..your tummy has been tru alot and it was open..plus your insides have been readjusted..for a while your bowels will be messed up but ill tell you one thing you couldnt of gone with a better surgeon than dr randall or dr yahia.. first month is very hard your body goes thru so many changed but everything will fall into place congrats

Normal - a heating pad can help. BMs become few & far between when you're not eating what we used to... good luck!
