Surgery is scheduled!

Hi everyone! Got my surgery date last week! I am getting sleeved on November 13th. Having mixed feelings right now. Very anxious and scared. Decided to go to the hospital alone. My family will just make more more anxious. I want to go to the operating room with a clear head. Of course they are upset and feel excluded. But I feel this is best for me. Just want to get this done and get on with my life! I will post again once I am home from the hospital. Thanks to all that have reached out and given me advice and support. I really appreciate it.

I wish more people would post on here. We all need support while on this journey!

I hear you about this board. When I stumbled upon it years ago, it was tough to keep up with all the posts! I don't really come on here much any more simply because of the inactivity. The other forums are still kickin!

Mary (Just starting down the path:  Had orientation, initial medical appt., and psych eval.  Still have to see nutritionist, etc., etc. .... probably six months away from getting surgery date.  :(   )
