3 more weeks!!

It seems like it's taken me forever to get to this point.
RNY scheduled for 5/9 at Winchester Hospital with Dr, Sandor. I can't believe it's almost here!!

I plan on taking 8 weeks off, I'm a nurse so I will have some restrictions on lifting and such.
Also my daughter who dances has a competition the Sat after my surg date, I'm hoping that things go well and I'll be home to see her dance. 

8 more shifts to go!!

Hi Mary,

Congratulations! I had RNY at Winchester hospital also. The staff there were great. I was very nervous and they put you at ease. The stay there went by very fast. Make sure you do all the walking they tell you to do! Good luck!

How long was your hospital stay? I've heard 2-3 days is normal, barring any complications. It's been a long time since I was an inpatient, so it will be a little weird being on the other side of the bed.
