One month out progress?

Hi,

Just looking to get some information from people on where they were one month out?

I was about 245 pounds Dec 10.  Lost 20 pounts presurgery on liquid diet.  Was 225 for surgery on Jan 10.  And in the month since surgery have only lost about 12 pounds.  I'm not sure if that's normal or if that's because I was having trouble getting in my water and protein and am still working on that.  I'm on a liquid diet (soups/jellos too) still but can start the blenderized soups/veggies etc Monday.  Though since I can't get in all my water probably won't have too much.

Am I not eating enough?

Thanks!

You're doing fine!  Everyone loses at different rates.  Focus on getting your water and protein in (it's a LOT easier to get the protein in once you can eat real food), and the weight will come off.  I started losing quicker once I was up to the full 60g protein/day... plus I felt better :-)

you really are doing well. Congrats on your surgery and it does get easier. I ended up losing my weight very quickly and honestly wish that is was a bit slower. Just remember this wasn't meant to be a "quick fix" but a lifestyle change. And also remember you are still only a month out and can still have some swelling from the surgery. Keep up the good work and keep working on the fluids and protein. It really helps you and when you don't drink enough you do start to have issues. Congrats again and take care. :)

Sounds like you're doing good! Some people lose at crazy speeds, other slower. Weight is so funny ... never know how you're gonna lose it. I definitely think that once you get to eat more foods the weight will start to come out ... I was slow at first and then it just started coming off like crazy ... now I'm back in the slow stage.

You're doing great!! Focus on getting in the water, then the protein
