I have a date...Why is this making me anxious?!?!?

Hi Lee,

What a great surgery date! It's completely normal to be nervous! You'll be uncomfortable for a the first few days to a week, it's mostly from the gas, but it's not bad. Take the pain meds as recommended, keep sipping water and walk as much as possible. I didn't have to do a liquid pre-op diet so I can't really comment there. Post op, you won't be hungry at all, at least for awhile. In fact, I am still not hungry, I eat when it's time to eat. This does not mean you won't have cravings, it's what people call head hunger. The first few weeks post op you get very bored with your plan but it gets easier as you're able to add more and more foods in. As for loose skin, age is working in your favor. It really is a combination of age, genetics, how much you have to loose and how long you've been overweight. People loose at different rates and since you're a relative lightweight to begin with you probably won't see the huge numbers some people have but it will come off, just imagine where you'll be by the summer!

Aww. Thanks. Suprising to be called a light weight to begin with. haha. But I know what you mean. Dr wants me down to 135ish is that even possible? I dunno. Anyway, Thanks for the support. Hopefully I wont have a ton of loose skin but Ill take it any day over the weight and pain. Thanks again!
