Upper GI

Hello,  has anyone had to have an upper GI after surgery?  I am about 6 weeks out and I have had an awful time getting in all my protein and fluids.  The fluids are actually harder for me to get in then food.  I feel sick after just one sip and when I take a pill with water I sometimes get sick and have a pain.  They suggested I get an upper GI.  So I have one tomorrow but I don't know what to expect. 

Oh no!! I haven't had an upper GI, but I know a few of the girls here have .. they can give you some advice.
