First appointment

My first appointment is today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so exicited!!!!!!!!!!!

So how'd it go???

Hi Cj!! My appointment went well and I already have all the others appt set up. My surgeon will be Dr. Michael Jiser. So far so good!!!!

I'm in the midst of ALL the appointments myself... waiting is the hardest part!!!
When I was at an appointment just yesterday the physician asked "when would you like to go forward with your surgery" I replied "tomorrow?"

Have you chosen a procedure yet?

Hi CJ! I believed that I will do the RNY. Where are you going for your surgery? I am at  the Lowell General Hospital program and I like so far. Sometimes I am so exicited but sometimes I am still wonder if I am doing the right thing( normal feelings I think).

I had a lap-band in 2007 without much progress before it slipped!
I fought for the VSG but my insurance company wouldn't budge!!!
Since 2007 (pre-band) I considered RNY but now, 3+ years later I'm 110% certain RNY is for me!!!

I'm working with the Weight&Wellness program at Tufts in Boston.  It's a bit of a drive but I feel it's where I'll get the best care. 

From what I've read and heard it's normal to question this life altering decision even when we wake up from anesthesia!   It's good though - It means we aren't taking lightly!!!
