How long will take?

I had my introduction session at LGH on 07/16/10. My first appt is on 07/22/10. How long will take for me to know if the insurance will approve and to have the surgery? My insurance is Commowealth choice Neighborhood heath plan NHP. What are the steps? New on the board and with a lot questions. Thank you

It will take about 3-4 months. They won't give you a surgery date until EVERYTHING is submitted to the insurance and the insurance gives the approval. On your first appointment you should get a couple more appointments set up. A lot is done for you ...you just gotta show up! You also need to attend 3 pre op classes, 1-2 nutrition classes, a couple other things. They will tell you all this at your appointment.
